The Course

The TVS - IIT Madras Finishing School is offering a Nine-month Certificate Course On Automotive Engineering Design and Analysis. The students will undergo study and training in the following areas:

• Finite Element Analysis
• Vehicle Dynamics
• Automotive Structure
• Mechatronics
• Automatic System

The course will be a mix of lectures, assignments using software tools, and an industry project in any of the areas covered. The industry project, to be of a three month duration, will be a real life design/analysis problem that will be defined by the participating companies.
The course will also aim to develop soft skills like communication, team building and leadership qualities in students.
